    Job Title: Laborer

    Job Description

    We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking laborer to assist in a variety of general functions. This role involves supporting painters and sandblasters, as well as participating in various tasks related to sanding, masking, and packaging products.

    Responsibilities

    + Sanding and prepping products for painting.

    + Masking products to ensure precise painting.

    + Hanging and moving products and materials as needed.

    + Wrapping and packaging finished products.

    + General housekeeping duties including sweeping and cleaning.

    + Supporting painters and sandblasters with tasks like masking and shoveling sand.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience in masking, sanding, and painting.

    + Ability to perform general labor and cleaning tasks.

    + Experience in a physically demanding laborer role.

    + Capability to work independently with minimal supervision.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Must be able to obtain a DBIDS for Camp Pendleton or currently possess one.

    + Must have reliable transportation and a valid State ID/Driver's License.

    + Previous experience working at Camp Pendleton and/or the Oceanside area is highly preferred.

    Work Environment

     

    The position is based at the El Cajon yard, with potential projects around the county, including support for the LCAT project at Camp Pendleton. The standard work schedule is Monday through Friday from 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM. The company operates in a full-service powder coating and sandblasting environment, equipped with advanced facilities to accommodate a wide range of projects.

     

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of El Cajon, California.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
