We offer a hybrid work schedule (one week in the office, one week of teleworking) to accommodate the need for flexibility.

Job Summary
The IT Business Account Customer Service area has an exciting Business Systems Specialist role available with a focus on customer acquition for the Virtual Power Plant program. As a Specialist, you will support and be the technical lead for the product squad developing new tools and strategies to be able to increase Demand Side Mangement program enrolement and integrate into our VPP systems. Provides technical consulting. Incumbents are business specialists and technology generalists. Generally, this role is established in the Information Technology function. Devises and/or modifies procedures to solve the most complex technical problems related to systems. Creates detailed requirements from which specifications will be written. Aligns technology solutions with business strategies. Informs and advises customers on information system technologies, functionalities, costs, benefits, and implementation requirements. Provides services such as facilitating priority setting. Manages budget and resourcing on non-mission critical applications, for routine maintenance that does not require a formal project plan. Works with an individual business unit on multi-project assignments. Serves project work team or group leader. Errors may cause significant disruption to operations or major costs.
Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience
10+ years of directly related experience.
+ Must have experience working with a large utility IT group.
+ Must have experience deploying multiphase solutions to modenrize existing legacy applications.
+ Expert level understanding of the implmention of Cloud solutions.
+ Must be able to manage compeating solutions and communicate effectively.
+ Backgound in consulting is highly preferred.
+ Must have a Professional in Business Analysis (PBA) certification.
+ Expert understanding of Scrum and agile methodologies.
+ Expert understanding of business systems and industry requirements.
+ Experience in leading multi-disciplinary work teams and groups is desired.
+ IT experience in business systems analysis in a large-scale environment, across multiple hardware and software platforms, or business unit experience that includes working closely with IT in the development and implementation of large-scale systems.
+ Demonstrated competency in verbal, written, and presentation communications.
+ Demonstrated competency in interpersonal understanding.
+ Demonstrated ability to research and understand customer issues.
+ Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain a high level of customer trust and confidence in the Information Technology team's knowledge of and concern for the customer's business needs.
+ Demonstrated ability to work with all levels of employees and to influence and impact others.
+ Experience in developing others, with demonstrated ability to achieve results through others.
+ Experience with and demonstrated organization and planning skills, including coordination of assigned projects, planning, scheduling, and time management. Ability to handle multiple deadlines and associated pressures.
+ Experience in adaptation to, and application of, rapidly-changing technology to business needs.
+ Demonstrated business systems understanding and orientation.
+ Demonstrated flexibility.
+ Ability to develop programs and conduct training.
+ Demonstrated ability to work independently. Achievement orientation. Concern for quality. Self-starter. Ability to maintain self-control.
Education Requirements
Degree or an equivalent combination of education and demonstrated related experience may be accepted in lieu of preferred level of education:
Bachelor
