What are your contributions to the team?
+ Directly support the UMT leadership and be one of the focal points CRC and Customers to accept/evaluate maintenance requests
+ Support the UMT supervisors and CPM’s with regular customer updates, both written and verbal
+ Support the UMT supervisor with coordination of daily technical operations and maintenance activities, alongside operational issues within the UMT Operations team
+ Evaluate reported aircraft defects and discrepancies, troubleshoot and provide initial rectification and recovery plan to support lead technicians/technicians
+ Liaison with Manager Operations/Team Leads to create return to service estimates for AOG aircraft, source any required resources, procure parts and materials and coordinate logistics.
+ Upon receipt of Customer PO/Work Requests, Review/Issue aircraft maintenance work packages to ensure they are compliant with all applicable regulations, company procedures and the aircraft approved technical data.
+ Working alongside the Manager Operations and CPM to Identify and evaluate opportunities to perform maintenance when operational schedules permit
+ Support the Team for a detailed shift log and provide clear and accurate handover for all aircraft
+ Updating of the UMT status board for visibility
+ Promote safety for self and others
+ Liaise with Part 145 organizations, manufacturers and service providers for technical follow up if required
+ Ability to support buyer, planner and administrative functions during busy periods
How to thrive in this role?
+ FAA Licensed Engineer (or equivalent)
+ Type training and/or experience with hands on maintenance with Bombardier Business Aircraft (preferred but not essential)
+ 5 Years Line maintenance and/or UMT Experience. (Specific MOC/MCC experience preferred) experience working in fast paced, fast changing environment
+ Broad experience and understanding of wider service centre teams, including heavy maintenance, line, planning etc.
+ Sound knowledge of aircraft engineering and maintenance activities
+ Good communication skills at different levels with internal and external stakeholders
+ Sound understanding of safety management systems surrounding aircraft operating processes and procedures
+ Good understanding of Regulatory and Compliance Environment (FAA/EASA)
+ Working knowledge of Microsoft office
+ SAP knowledge (preferred but not essential)
+ Ability to work a set shift pattern, with flexibility
