WBS, a subsidiary of WEC Energy Group, is seeking a Project Manager Facilities in our Milwaukee, Wisconsin location. This position offers a flexible hybrid work arrangement with time spent in the Milwaukee office.

Job Summary

Under the supervision of the Manager – Facility Management, the Project Manager - Facilities is responsible for performing project management for remodeling and new construction of all corporate facilities. This position deals with projects of a complex nature with regard to technical and logistics issues, and requires experience in dealing with a variety of disciplines and numerous stakeholders.

Job Responsibilities

+ Responsible for project management of renovation and new construction of all corporate facilities, including complex projects requiring coordination of multidisciplinary technical and logistical issues

+ Management from project conception through design, construction and final occupancy

+ Coordinate activities of outside consultants including architects, engineers and contractors

+ Initiate and evaluate alternatives and cost savings opportunities

+ Develop and ensure adherence to project schedules, budgets and vendor contracts

+ Ability to succeed in a customer-focused role within the department. High level of customer/client interaction and satisfaction is required

+ Utilize strong communication and interpersonal skills to interface with other business units including Supply Chain, Environmental, IT/Telecom, Voice/Data, Real Estate

+ Develop and coordinate issuance of RFP's for professional services, general contracting and design/build services

+ Perform building code studies and ADA compliance reviews of existing facilities

+ Assist in the development and maintenance of departmental standard processes and procedures for project management

+ Establish leadership presence as a staff augmentation resource manager

+ Manage multiple furniture manufacturer and vendor contracts, in addition to the corporate Move/Add/Change program

Minimum Experience Required

+ Bachelors Degree in Business, Architecture, Engineering or Construction Management or related field

+ Applicants should possess at least 7 years of facility related design and project management experience and must be well versed in management of complex multidisciplinary projects

+ Applicants must have the ability to efficiently and effectively interface with contractors, internal customers and the Facilities Management Team and must possess strong interpersonal, organizational, analytical and decision-making skills

+ Applicants must have strong communications and customer relations skills and be proficient in Microsoft Office and Project

Preferred Qualifications

+ Previous architectural/design experience is desired. Architectural registration is not required

+ PMP certification is desired but not required.

Pay Range Minimum: $88,472.54

Pay Range Maximum: $132,708.94

The pay range reflects the minimum and maximum for the position at the time of posting and may be modified in the future. The starting salary/pay within the pay range will be based on several factors, as applicable, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, shift, travel requirements, collective bargaining agreements, and business and organizational needs. At WEC Energy Group, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role.
