Job Description
The Director, US Omnichannel Product Owner position plays a key leadership role in the US market, driving the best-in-class omnichannel strategy with the ability to fulfill the US Market OMM vision. This role is responsible for the acceleration and implementation of various omnichannel initiatives, e.g. NBE, CDP, etc. throughout the US market and expanding the partnership between the Brand Teams and Global DHH counterparts. This role enables OMM via building the technical capabilities and ways of working to enable N=1 segmentation and targeting, customer database platform and omnichannel orchestration engine. This role requires the ability to influence and partner with senior leadership across multiple business units and functional areas to identify how to meet the unique needs via leveraging advanced automation and modeling capabilities. This role holds the critical responsibility of planning and executing optimizations and innovation to both the NBE model and Marketing Automation tools.
This role requires extensive knowledge of overall engagement channels from an HCP customer engagement perspective as well as a deep technical understanding of Life Sciences data sets (e.g., claims, electronic health records) and advanced modeling approaches. Using this expertise, this role translates brand-specific customer journeys and engagement strategies into the data and algorithms required to determine the appropriate channels and timing required to execute that strategy, enabling seamless connection of brand strategies with technical execution.
The incumbent will have the responsibility of defining and enabling a closed loop insight process to drive optimal customer engagement. Ability to innovate using latest technologies such as GenAI and ML to execute pilots which will deliver business impact across the US Market landscape.
This role drives collaboration across different verticals to execute new engagement experience and drive outcomes for brands. Furthermore, this role must have adept communication skills to effectively articulate insights and requirements about these subject areas with various teams to ensure clarity and alignment with objectives.
+ Activate and deliver the One of our company's Experience Marketing Model (OMM) goals by enabling the precision targeting for each individual Customer or Consumer based on brand-specific data sets (both internal and external) and algorithms to ensure a fully tailored and unique experience.
+ Lead a team to drive the development of our company's US Market Next Best Engagement, Customer Database Platform and additional Omnichannel capabilities across Vaccines, Oncology, and Pharma & Rare Disease Business Units to tailor the engagement experience for each customer.
+ Collaborate with broader Customer Excellence & Innovation (CEI) teams to execute the customer engagement strategy and customer journey defined by brand teams and other CEI functions.
+ Spearhead innovation in customer engagement by planning and executing pilots using GenAI with a vision to integrate within our company's ecosystem.
+ Demonstrate a deep understanding of the unique priorities, challenges and needs for each Business Unit to prioritize and deliver a comprehensive roadmap for the Next Best Engagement, Customer Database Platform and Marketing Automation Tools.
+ Forge partnerships with leadership across various departments, including DHH, , Business Unit Marketing, and CEI team to integrate new data sets, develop new algorithms, and enable competitive omnichannel differentiation for our company.
+ As the product owner for our company's US Market Next Best Engagement engine, Customer Database Platform and Marketing Automation tools, the individual is responsible for strategic decisioning around associated investments, priorities, and capability development.
+ Actively develop the US Omnichannel Product Owner team members, focusing on leveraging and strengthening employees' skills, deepening subject matter knowledge, and creating new growth opportunities.
Qualifications:
Minimum/Preferred Education Requirements:
+ **Minimum:** Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Marketing, Data Science, Business, or a related discipline.
+ **Preferred:** Master's degree or Ph.D. in Data Science, Computer Science, or a related technical field. A Master of Business Administration (MBA) is also preferred.
Required Experience and Skills:
+ **10+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry** , with a focus on customer engagement, omnichannel marketing, or commercial operations.
+ **Deep technical knowledge of digital marketing and customer engagement platforms** including marketing automation tools, customer data platforms (CDPs)/Dynamic Segmentation, and omnichannel orchestration engines.
+ **Proven experience with Life Sciences data sets** such as claims data, electronic health records (EHRs), and prescription data.
+ **Strong expertise in advanced analytics, data modeling, and artificial intelligence (AI) / machine learning (ML)** , with a demonstrated ability to translate complex data into actionable business strategies.
+ **Significant experience in developing and implementing next best engagement (NBE) models** or similar precision-targeting strategies.
+ **Demonstrated leadership and people management skills** , including the ability to build, mentor, and lead a high-performing technical team.
+ **Exceptional communication and influencing skills** , with a track record of successfully partnering with and presenting to senior leadership across various business units.
+ **Experience in a product owner or similar strategic role** , including responsibility for roadmapping, investment decisions, and capability development for complex technical products.
+ **Ability to drive innovation** by leading and executing pilot programs with emerging technologies, such as Generative AI.
+ **A strong understanding of the unique commercial priorities** and challenges within different pharmaceutical business units (e.g., Vaccines, Oncology, Rare Disease).
Additional Requirements:
+ Ability to work hybrid at the North Wales (Upper Gwynedd), Pennsylvania office at least 3 days per week.

The salary range for this role is
$187,000.00 - $294,400.00
This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. An employee’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, government requirements, and business or organizational needs.
The successful candidate will be eligible for annual bonus and long-term incentive, if applicable.
