    The Project Analyst works for the Business Operations Manager to perform a variety of analysis, HR, and accounting related administrative functions in support of the Program Management Office (PMO). Acts as liaison between employees and Akima Shared Services to resolve personnel issues and may act as security officer.

    Responsibilities

    + Analyzes business operations requirements. Assesses current practices, collects information, and analyzes industry and fiscal trends to determine program and/or project objectives and risk.

    + Documents processes and makes recommendations for improvements.

    + Prepares technical reports and summarizes information and trends.

    + Performs work under direct supervision.

    + Handles basic issues and problems and refers more complex issues to higher-level staff.

    + Liaise with Corporate Training on supporting individual employees with job specific training requirements (e.g. Managerial Leadership training classes) and the entire workforce for annual training requirements (Code of Conduct, Harassment, Timekeeping, …)

    + Liaise with Benefits and Payroll to resolve employee issues, submit service tickets on behalf of employees

    + Be familiar with Collective Bargaining Agreements, maintain and post seniority lists as required, keep PM informed of on-going labor relations issues

    + Maintain personnel rosters, coordinate with PM and QC on submitting CDRLs related to personnel/staffing reporting

    + Liaise with Corporate Compliance to manage local drug testing program

    + Coordinate with managers/supervisors to input personnel actions into the ERC, e.g. separations, PAFs for duty title changes, annual CBA wage increases, …

    + Site POC for hiring actions to include following new-hire actions with the Recruiting Coordinator team, first-day local on-boarding actions, etc.

    + Responsible for material/services tracking to include funding and payables.

    + Review invoices for appropriate documentation prior to payment

    + Perform invoice and general-ledger data entry

    + Reconcile statements and payment records

    + Perform other related administrative duties as required

    Qualifications

    + 3+ years of experience in Business Administration and/or HR support related position

    + Bachelor’s degree in business administration, human relations, or related field

    + Valid state issued driver's license

    + Intermediate experience with Microsoft Office suite required, including SharePoint (MS Power Apps and/or advance skill in MS Excel preferred)

    + Excellent written and verbal communication skills

    + Ability to obtain and maintain a government secret clearance
