THE POSITION

DESCRIPTION OF WORK
As a County ID Program Specialist 1, you will be responsible for activities associated with the administration of the Consolidated, Community Living, and Person Family Directed Supports (PFDS) Waivers as defined in the Administrative Entity (AE) Operating Agreement. You will be tasked with leading the authorization and approval of Individual Support Plans (ISPs) for those served by the Intellectual Disabilities/Autism Services Program. This includes conducting critical revisions, annual reviews, fiscal year renewals, and mass rate changes. You will work directly with supports coordination organizations to ensure that services are being efficiently utilized and make any necessary adjustments to remain in alignment with the individual's needs.
Within this role, you will monitor and manage Prioritization of Urgency of Need for Services (PUNS), assist with the incident management process, and serve as a resource for incoming crisis afterhours calls. This position requires a comprehensive knowledge of the AE Operating Agreement and all regulations pertaining to ID and Autism waivers and service delivery. You will utilize innovative analytical skills to evaluate program related issues, obtain client feedback, and provide recommendations for long-term resolutions.
Work Schedule and Additional Information:

+ Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
+ Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
+ Two years of professional experience in the field of intellectual disabilities, and a bachelor's degree; or
+ An equivalent combination of experience and training.

Review and assess an individual’s level of care using the Office of Developmental Programs (ODP) Home and Community-Based Services (HCBS) waiver regulations to determine their initial waiver eligibility.
