Key Responsibilities

+ Claims Auditing:

+ Reviewing medical claims to verify accurate coding, correct benefit payments, and adherence to contract terms and company policies.

+ Issue Resolution:

+ Investigating and resolving discrepancies in claims payments and identifying underlying system or benefit inaccuracies.

+ Compliance Monitoring:

+ Ensuring that all claims and processes comply with state and federal regulations and health plan requirements.

+ Reporting:

+ Tracking and reporting findings, including overpayments, underpayments, and other irregularities, to management.

+ Process Improvement:

+ Assisting in the development and implementation of policies and procedures to improve audit and recovery processes.

+ External Audit Support:

+ Supporting internal and external regulatory audits by preparing necessary documentation and data.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $28.00/hr.
