The OT System Administrator is responsible for administering and maintaining the infrastructure that supports Operations Technology (OT) systems, including Windows servers, VMWare virtual environments, and industrial IoT devices. This role involves configuring and deploying network components, monitoring system performance, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and performing preventive maintenance to ensure optimal uptime and reliability. The administrator collaborates with cross-functional teams to align technical solutions with business needs, supports industrial control systems and SCADA environments, and documents procedures and resolutions. Additional duties include managing user access, conducting root cause analysis, and contributing to system design, integration, and performance optimization. The ideal candidate would have at least 3+ years of system administration experience and is open to going onsite daily at a refinery. This position will be onsite daily in Reserve, LA. BG and drug tests will be required. Must be able to obtain or have a TWIC card.

+ Administer and configure network and virtual server infrastructure supporting Operations Technology (OT).
+ Manage Microsoft Windows Server technologies and VMWare virtual machines.
+ Patch, support, and maintain IoT devices and industrial equipment for OT and automation systems.
+ Troubleshoot network issues (TCP/IP), Windows systems, and virtualization environments.
+ Monitor system performance, conduct root cause analysis, and optimize infrastructure.
+ Support Industrial Control Systems (ICS), SCADA, and related protocols.
Preferred Experience:
+ 3+ years in OT system administration within manufacturing or production.
+ Hands-on with VMWare, Windows Server, Active Directory, and Powershell scripting.
+ Familiarity with Honeywell or Emerson systems and oil & gas process controls is a plus.
Additional Skills:
+ Systems design, integration, and performance monitoring.
+ Incident management and preventive maintenance.
+ Strong communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Education:
+ Bachelor’s in IT or related field, or equivalent experience.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $44.00/hr.
