    Position Overview

    At Aurora Flight Sciences, we design, build, and fly advanced aircraft and enabling technologies from concept to reality. We are searching for a talented and self-motivated Quality Production Specialist to help us create the future of flight. Responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:

    Responsibilities

    The Quality Production Specialist, working under general supervision in a team-oriented environment, performs tasks in a timely and efficient manner to support the quality and production systems. Specific Tasks Include: Assist Material Review Board (MRB) Engineers with initial assessment of nonconforming reports to ensure validity and report is complete and correct. Package and move parts to and from Production. Maintain the Repair Control Center (RCC) by securing nonconforming parts and maintaining the RCC log. Create production orders in the resource planning software (SAP) to accompany rework and repair work instructions. Coordinate with the Material Control group to issue rework and repair production orders and incorporate those into work packages. Issue Stock Sweeps for suspect parts and maintain the Stock Sweep log.

    Minimum Requirements

    - Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Associate) and typically 1 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Bachelor, 3 years' related work experience, etc.).

     

    - Familiar with standard concepts, practices and procedures within Quality Assurance.

     

    - Must be proficient with MS Office applications.

     

    - Good attention to detail and at following instructions.

     

    - Must be a U.S. person.

    Preferred Requirements

    - Basic knowledge of ERP Systems (SAP).

     

    - Basic knowledge of Material Review Board (MRB) practices.

     

    - Experience using precision measuring equipment.

     

    - Basic understanding of blueprints, drawings and 3D modeling, such as use of CATIA.

    Physical Requirements

    - Ability to work in a manufacturing environment and wear proper PPE.

     

    - Ability to transport objects up to 35 pounds as well as consistently stoop, crawl, bend, crouch, climb and kneel.

     

    - Flexible to work extended hours.

     

    - Work onsite in Bridgeport, WV.

    Salary Range (Annualized USD)

    + Minimum Range: $51,000.00 to $90,000.00

    + Maximum Range: $64,000.00 to $114,000.00
