    Summary You will serve as a LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the AIR SYSTEMS GROUP, SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT DIVISION, SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT BRANCH of NAVAIRWARCENAC DIV. Responsibilities You will identify Supply Support strategies through an analytical process that entails a selection of strategies based upon a Program’s unique characteristics and Supportability challenges. You will decompose key Supply Support metrics to identify and implement high-return corrective actions to drive improvements. You will collaborate with internal and external entities to encourage Supply behaviors for favorable contributions to Readiness. You will develop material spares and repair requirements using appropriate mathematical models to attain aircraft or system availability. You will analyze computed support levels to determine that the planned supply support meets operational goals within the approved funding envelope. You will use existing data analytics and/or develop new capabilities to identify for leadership Supply-related barriers to Maintenance Effectivity, giving emphasis to trends negatively affecting multiple end items. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or DS-05 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Serving as a Supply Support/Supply Chain Manager; 2) Implementing and monitoring Supply Metrics; 3) Providing Program Offices with detailed, technically accurate guidance and assistance; 4) Executing Supply initiatives directed by internal and external organizational leadership; and 5) Establishing communication and planning requirements with military departments to establish and sustain supply support during Initial Operational Capability through Material Support Date.
