    Description

    TEKsystems is currently looking for a IT professional looking to grow their career. This role you will be supporting one of our local Lansing companies with:

     

    Maintain installed PCs, networks, telephone systems and peripherals with routine maintenance searches for improvement opportunities

     

    Identify, log and resolve technical problems with software applications or network systems

     

    Identifies improvement areas that can be documented

     

    Identify potential changes and system improvements and present to leadership for consideration and implementation

     

    Deploy and test computer products and images using Microsoft Intune and Microsoft Deployment tools.

     

    Maintain and support conferencing equipment and technologies

     

    Support network configurations for remote offices, which may include laptops, desktops, tablets, conferencing equipment, printers, cabling, televisions, and other network resources.

     

    Process computer products received including tagging and entering information into inventory files.

     

    Work with vendors and consultants to repair and replace all major hardware components in computer related products.

     

    Assist in the diagnosis and resolution of end user applications and network support problems.

     

    Top Skills Details

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

    1-4 years’ experience in a Help Desk or Desktop Support role

     

    Experience troubleshooting Hardware/Software Troubleshooting, Windows, Active Directory, Deployments ,Network Configurations, Cabling ,Laptop/PC

     

    Verbal, written, communication skills with the ability to communicate technical data to a wide variety of audiences

     

    Self-starter and possess level of professionalism

     

    Ability to perform in a fast-paced, changing environment with multiple deadline-oriented projects

     

    Experience using ITSM ticketing tool

     

    Customer service experience in face-to-face, telephone or electronic interaction with clients

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr.
