    Position Overview:

    Works with Strategic Campaigns and Operations leadership to support the development of Campaign Priorities and Initiatives aligned with Sutter Health’s 2030 Vision in conjunction with leaders and operators across Sutter Health’s Divisions and Service Lines. Leverages business acumen, program development and management skills to develop expertise in specific projects and priorities and serve as a trusted knowledge partner to fundraising teams and donors. Utilizes critical thinking skills to analyze problems and issues from a variety of perspectives to understand the legal, clinical, and human resource impact of decisions and helps to build consensus and collaboration at all levels of the organization for the development of compelling fundraising campaigns that are aligned with Sutter Health's long-term goals. In collaboration with Philanthropy and Sutter Health leaders, facilitates the timely release of funds for multiple projects and helps measure and articulate the impact of philanthropic investments across major initiatives. Supports the development of innovations in fundraising practice that can ensure efficiency and improved return on investment (ROI).

     

    The position works closely with philanthropy leadership, administrators, and leading clinicians across Sutter Health and is responsible for ensuring the development of compelling, consistently high-quality products aligned with strategic campaigns and Sutter Health's broader communications objectives and guided by best practices in the fields of philanthropy.

     

    Provides leadership and oversight of donor-focused programs, events, direct mail and stewardship, all designed to support the long-term fundraising goals. Builds, implements, and integrates strategic donor relations teams and programs that drive a culture of philanthropy and meet campaign goals. Leverages donor relations staff to assist regional gift

     

    officers with their employee giving campaigns and special events.

     

    This position is required to be onsite where and as needed 2-3 times per week.

    EDUCATION:

    _Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma._

     

    Bachelor's: Business Administration, Healthcare or related field

    TYPICAL EXPERIENCE:

    12 years recent relevant experience.

    SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:

    + Ability to prioritize in a highly complex and fast-moving environment while working with various leaders in virtual locations.

    + Ability to engender trust with a wide range of people will be crucial as will confidentiality and finesse in what is a high-touch stewardship-oriented role.

    + Demonstrates credible leadership presence, with the ability to respond to questions with logic, clarity, calmness and authority; and the ability to motivate and engage others.

    + Verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey concepts and communicate information or issues in a manner that is readily understood by management and employees.

    + Demonstrates ability to effectively plan and provide services consistent with applicable legal standards and regulations.

    + Delegates effectively, with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment with changing business priorities.

    + Interpersonal skills with the ability to deliver presentations to a variety of audiences.

    Pay Range is $75.88 to $113.82 / hour

     

    _The salary range for this role may vary above or below the posted range as determined by location. This range has not been adjusted for any specific geographic differential applicable by area where the position may be filled. Compensation takes into account several factors including but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure and certifications, department equity, training and organizational needs. Base pay is just one piece of the total rewards program offered by Sutter Health. Eligible roles also qualify for a comprehensive benefits package._ _​_
