    Job Description

    Position Summary:

    As the Senior Global Integrated Market Development Manager at Thermo Fisher Scientific, you will play a pivotal role in driving the growth of workflow and solution marketing within the Thermo Fisher Bioprocessing Group. In this mentor/player role, you will guide all aspects of a team (2-4) of solutions-focused marketers responsible for developing and driving complete marketing strategies, client-focused initiatives, and sales support programs. This role requires a deep understanding of the life sciences or therapeutics development market, alongside the ability to collaborate in a global matrix organization.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Lead a team to collectively develop and implement strategic marketing plans, customer-centric campaigns, and sales enablement for workflows and solutions based around a modality.

    + Craft differentiated value propositions, market positioning, and messaging to elevate brand awareness and solution relevance in the marketplace.

    + Lead market research initiatives to uncover competitor intel and market trends, synthesizing these insights into actionable sales enablement strategies.

    + Build and lead demand generation programs with a focus on marketing qualified leads, sales qualified opportunities, sales velocity, and revenue generation. Develop assets and collateral to support program goals.

    + Partner with R&D, business marketers, regional marketers, and sales teams to develop sales enablement framework for modality-focused workflows based on Group positioning, evidence and data, and value proposition to customers.

    + Use data-driven decision-making to continuously optimize marketing efforts and ensure return on investment.

    Qualifications:

    + Minimum 10 years of global or regional marketing, business development and/or field-based customer support role (product specialist or field application scientist) in the life sciences market, with a strong preference for candidates with workflow and solutions marketing experience.

    + Strong understanding of therapeutics development and the drug development ecosystem.

    + Demonstrated expertise in developing and delivering comprehensive marketing strategies, value propositions, and sales enablement.

    + Proven track record of business growth.

    + Strong experience in demand generation with measurable success in driving revenue.

    + Ability to analyze and interpret data to optimize decision-making and marketing investments.

    + Experience working cross-functionally in a global, matrixed organization.

    + Excellent leadership and communication with the ability to prioritize.

    + Highly motivated and accountable with a proactive approach to problem-solving.

     

    Compensation and Benefits

     

    The salary range estimated for this position based in California is $118,100.00–$177,200.00.

     

    This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy. We offer a comprehensive Total Rewards package that our U.S. colleagues and their families can count on, which includes:
