Role Overview: Unpack Your Potential

Join Amcor as an **Electrical Mechanical Technician** and play a key role in producing high-quality packaging that makes a global impact. You’ll ensure safety, quality standards, and contribute to a team focused on collaboration and continuous improvement.

Schedule

+ **Shift:** 2-2-3: 12-hour shifts, nights, 7:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m.

What** **you’ll** **do:

+ Perform troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair on electrical and control systems

+ Install, modify, and maintain motors, drives, PLCs, and related equipment

+ Support preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime

+ Ensure compliance with safety, EHS, and operational standards

+ Collaborate with production teams to resolve issues quickly and effectively

+ Document work performed and maintainaccurate records

+ Proactively identify improvement opportunities for equipment reliability and efficiency

What We Want** **From** **You: Lead the Pack

Preferred qualifications:

+ High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in electrical/electronics preferred

+ 3+ years of experience as an electrical technician in a manufacturing or industrial setting

+ Strong knowledge of PLCs, VFDs, and electrical troubleshooting

+ Ability to read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals

+ Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office and maintenance systems

+ Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills

+ Ability to work safely with high-voltage systems and equipment

+ Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. and working 12-hour shifts in a fast-paced environment
