    Job Title: Electrical Engineering Intern

     

    Department: Engineering

     

    Reports to: Engineering Manager

     

    FLSA Status: Non exempt

     

    Come join our Team as an Electrical Engineering Intern for Summer of 2026! We started with pastries handmade by Lois and Lloyd Martin inside of a garage and we have boomed into a multi-facility company where our many products are produced by machines and shipped domestically and internationally. Talk about a rich history and exciting future!     Summary: As a member of the Martin's Family, t he  Electrical Engineering Intern will provide Electrical support to the Engineering Department.

     

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the follo wing. Other duties as assigned.

     

    + Think logically and reasonably to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems.

    + Knowledge of Electrical Engineering concepts and principles

    + Participate in continuous improvement efforts by collecting and analyzing data.

    + Research solutions to project concerns, analyze and recommend solutions to problems.

    + Assist with ad hoc projects as assigned.

    + Understand department needs and seek clarification when needed.

    + Work with AutoCAD program .

    + Compose Engineering documents regarding design and layouts .

    + Take Measurements and create designs .

    + Adheres to and enforces safety, food safety, quality, and Good Manufacturing Practices regulations .

    + Reports food safety problems to personnel with authority to initiate action.

    Supervisory Responsibilities:

    This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

    Education and/or Experience:

    + High School Diploma or GED;

    + Currently attending accredited institution pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering .

    + Experience in using AutoCAD

    Computer Skills:

    + Microsoft Office ; Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

    Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

    + Valid Passport book or the ability to obtain one within 3 months of hire.
