Disney Consumer Products is seeking a Financial Analyst who wants to join our Branded Retail team, building a world-class experience for Guests of The Walt Disney Company!
As a Financial Analyst supporting North America Branded Retail (BR), you will provide financial planning and reporting efforts, ad hoc analysis, and other projects to continue to grow the business. The position will provide focused support to the leadership team and BR business partners as well as work closely with BR & Finance partners.
What You Will Do
+ Provide support for the North America Retail monthly forecasts, 5-year strategic plan and annual operating plan
+ Partner with the retail teams as well as key operating teams to facilitate detailed expense forecasts and budgets (e.g. technology, marketing, allocations)
+ Partner with the Commercial team to incorporate revenue and COGS projections into the domestic financial planning models
+ Review monthly/quarterly close results and provide cause of change drivers versus forecast/budget/prior year
+ Partner with Controllership to ensure accurate month end/quarter end close reporting
+ Prepare financial reports to complete Division and Corporate requests (monthly, quarterly and ad hoc)
+ Assist with preparation of presentations for the executive management team
+ Support ad hoc requests / special projects
Required Qualifications & Skills
+ 1+ years of related experience
+ Experience in preparing forecasts and budgets and an understanding of the financial cycles
+ Excellent communication skills (written & verbal)
+ Must be capable of working in fast-pace, self-directed, and changing environment
+ Strong research, analytical skills, proactive problem solver and self-motivated to perform tasks above and beyond their responsibility
+ COGNOS and SAP experience preferred
+ Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Excel and PowerPoint)
Education
+ Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or equivalent quantitative field
