    About the Role

     

    Turner Staffing Group, in partnership with a leading mining company specializing in crushing operations, is seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team. This position is ideal for individuals who have hands-on experience with large-scale equipment in a mining or aggregate environment and who thrive in a team-oriented workplace.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently, including:

    + CAT 980 and CAT 988 loaders

    + CAT 350 excavators

    + Support crushing operations by moving, loading, and feeding material.

    + Perform basic equipment maintenance, inspections, and minor repairs to ensure reliable operation.

    + Adhere to all company safety policies, site regulations, and environmental standards.

    + Collaborate with team members and supervisors to achieve production targets.

    + Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.

    Qualifications

    + Proven experience operating CAT 980/CAT 988 loaders and CAT 350 excavators in a mining or aggregate setting.

    + Basic mechanical and maintenance skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and assist with minor repairs.

    + Strong awareness of safety protocols and best practices in a mining environment.

    + Reliable, with a team player attitude and willingness to pitch in wherever needed.

    + Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with others.
