About the role
This role plays a key part in advancing the growth of Kerrys Snack EUM (End User Market) by executing the strategic roadmap for the Snack category. The successful candidate will lead and support customer engagement efforts, fostering collaboration across processors, brands, and retailers to bring innovative snack concepts to market. The scope of this role spans Savory Snacks, Nutrition and Cereal Bars, Confections, and Cereal and will focus on promoting Kerry solutions to solve customer/ consumer challenges. Those challenges include; Taste, Nutrition, Sustainability and Driving Value.
What will you do?
Drive Category Growth
+ Accelerate growth in the Snack category by leveraging industry expertise, market insights, and strategic relationships.
+ Champion the differentiation of Kerrys foundational technologies to create layered, value-added solutions.
Strategic Leadership & Execution
+ Collaborate with EUM leadership, Commercial Sales, and Technical Business Development to refine and execute the Snack EUM strategy.
+ Maintain a deep understanding of EUM strategic priorities and actively contribute to their evolution.
Customer Engagement & Support
+ Act as the voice of the customer internally, ensuring their needs and perspectives inform strategy and execution.
+ Support customer demos, troubleshooting, and solution development to showcase Kerrys portfolio and technical capabilities.
+ Serve as a subject matter expert during customer engagements, providing credible insights on key technologies.
Innovation & Market Alignment
+ Identify innovation opportunities aligned with market trends and customer feedback.
+ Develop business cases for new technologies and solutions that support EUM growth objectives.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
+ Partner with Marketing to position technologies effectively and communicate value to CPG and Private Label stakeholders.
+ Collaborate with technology teams and EUM leadership to execute growth initiatives and bring concepts to market.
+ Foster strong cross-functional alignment to ensure seamless execution of the Snack EUM strategy.
Performance & Insights
+ Stay informed on current and projected financial performance with support from the Commercial team.
+ Use data-driven insights to guide decision-making and measure impact.
What will you need to be successful?
+ BS/MS/PhD in Food Science, Food Technology or related discipline.
+ Strong technical background in snack applications and flavour development
+ Minimum 10 years of experience in commercial B2B food and beverage or private label industry.
+ Proven track record in leading customer-facing technical engagement.
+ Strong ability to create, drive and modulate complex projects involving multiple business functions.
Compensation Data
The typical hiring range for this role is $123,859 to $213,784 annually and is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, location, etc. In addition to your pay, Kerry offers benefits such as a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and retirement contribution (all benefits and incentives are subject to eligibility requirements).
