SUMMARY OF POSITION:

Provides direct supervision of clinical staff to provide optimal operations. Educate staff in the areas assigned and supervises workflows for that area. This will be a working supervisor position and will have dedicated time for direct patient care.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES- The percentage of time spent performing essential functions is 95%. Qualified individuals must have the ability (with or without reasonable accommodation) to perform the following duties:

+ Direct supervision of staff to include: Timekeeping, Performance Evaluations, Hiring, Progressive Discipline, Human Resource Actions, etc. Responsible for supervision, orientation, and training of the staff including enforcement and continuing improvement of acceptable professional and ethical standards and performance of clinical staff.

+ Responsible to ensure that staff schedules are optimized to support the provider and patient care needs. Promotes and upholds organizational policies and practices. Responsible for sharing all information and enforcing standard operating procedures that support institutional quality goals and regulatory requirements.

+ Managing workflow in laboratory and triage areas.

+ Serves in a direct patient care/triage capacity within the guidelines of RN licensure.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):

+ Associate's Degree in Nursing

+ Currently licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse by state of employment or holds a multistate RN license through the interstate Nurse Licensure Compact.

+ Two (2) years relevant experience
