Job Description

A government contractor in the Huntsville area is looking to hire a strategic finance leader to lead all aspects for the financial strategy to aid in growth of the business. This person will be responsible for:

- Strategizing basic corporate business policies and plans, develop financial policies and direct their implementation.

- Overseeing the production of financial reports that provide executives and operating managers with feedback on the financial effects of their actions.

- Analyzing current company business operations and future business plans and determines the financial effects of various business alternatives.

- Acting in a fiduciary capacity in maintaining accurate accounting records, analyzes and interprets statistical and accounting data and trends.

Skills and Requirements

- Four-year Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.

- Over ten years progressive and proven financial leadership experience at a company with revenues from $25M to $100M.

- Executive level leadership experience

- Government Trade and Accounting (FAR / CAS) Compliance

- Ability to operate effectively in a lean environment of less than 250 employees

- Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance

- Strong communications skills- Ability to express clearly the financial status of the company and associated financial matters.

- Experience with: Strategic and Value Creation Planning, Operational Analysis and Capital Planning, Treasury, Tax & Cash Management

- - Experience with Microsoft Dynamics

- Experience in a technology-based company
