    Job Description

    Insight Global is seeking a Litigation Paralegal to join a top international litigation firm. The paralegal will be joining the firm’s NYC office and will work alongside attorneys during all phases of the litigation process - from the initiation of a case to the discovery period through trial and post-trial findings and appeals. The paralegal will work with various partners at the firm and mentor junior paralegals.

    Responsibilities:

    • Organize documents and coordinate document productions.

    • Conduct research regarding potential new cases and entities, create and maintain internal case databases, and run searches in both internal and external databases.

    • Assist in case preparation, as well as prepare and attend depositions and trials.

    • Handle court filings and motion practice.

    • Act as a liaison among different firm departments and outside agencies.

     

    This is a full-time position, onsite 3 days a week onsite in New York, NY.

    Compensation:

    $65,000 to $85,000 per year annual salary.

     

    This role is eligible for a discretionary bonus based on performance.

     

    Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, geographic location, education, and consideration of internal equity.

    Skills and Requirements

    • At least 1 year of professional work experience or internship experience within the legal field

    • Experience with discovery databases and electronic discovery

    • Strong organizational, interpersonal, communication, critical thinking, and writing skills

    • Bachelor’s Degree – minimum of 3.0 GPA • Trial prep and trial experience

    • Mentorship/leadership experience
