Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a passionate, collaborative Assistant Teacher to join our Early Childhood Education team.

Our client is a network of private preschools based in Orange County, CA and they are seeking to hire 3 Assistant Teachers to work in a Montessori environment.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in working with toddlers and/or preschool-aged children in a certified child development center. This role requires a nurturing educator who is committed to fostering a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

-Implement a comprehensive early childhood curriculum aligned with Montessori principles

-Create a warm, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment that supports the developmental needs of young children.

-Observe and assess student progress, maintaining accurate records and communicating regularly with parents and caregivers.

-Collaborate with assistant teachers and staff to ensure a cohesive and supportive classroom experience.

-Maintain compliance with all state licensing requirements and center policies.

-Utilize standard office and classroom technology, including laptops and tablets, for lesson planning, communication, and documentation.

-Foster strong relationships with families, encouraging open communication and involvement in the child’s educational journey.

Skills and Requirements

-12+ completed ECE units required by the state of California

-The ability to be patient, collaborative, creative, and passionate about Early Childhood education is essential for this role -Montessori experience is a plus

-Advanced degree or certification in Early Childhood Education or Montessori training is a plus
