• Field Service Technician (100% Travel)

    Job Description

    Insight Global is hiring a Field Service Technician to support electrical and controls work across customer sites. This hands-on role includes setting up power distribution, installing and retrofitting control systems, and working with cables, conduits, and panels. Technicians will remove outdated wiring, troubleshoot complex electrical setups, and train customer personnel on system maintenance and operations. Success in this role requires strong expertise in motor wiring and the ability to navigate and organize messy or unlabeled environments. This is a travel-intensive position with both domestic and international site visits. 100% Travel (200-240 days per year).

    Skills and Requirements

     

    Pulling/labeling/terminating wires, conduit, cable tray

     

    Working with MCCs, motor, motor controls, etc.

     

    Proficient in 24V DC, 120V AC, and 480V 3-phase systems.

     

    Willingness to travel 100% - must be able to obtain a passport

    PLC experience is preferred/plus * VFD
