    We are seeking a technical Senior Performance Engineer to own the scalability, reliability, and responsiveness of enterprise-level, multi-platform software products. This person will work closely on web, API, and mobile interfaces, with responsibilities around designing, executing, and analyzing performance tests in order to optimize the system performance. Key Responsibilities include:

     

    Develop and execute performance, load, stress, and scalability tests

     

    Monitor application performance across all environments

     

    Automate performance testing processes and maintain dashboards reflecting outcomes

     

    Provide stakeholders with detailed documentation and root cause analysis for issues

    Skills and Requirements

     

    Bachelor's Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related

     

    7+ years job experience in Performance Testing and Performance Engineering, with exposure in identifying bottlenecks and understanding monolethic/microservices architecture

     

    Proficiency with performance testing and performance monitoring tools, including designing/building mockers and simulators

     

    Apache, Jmeter, LoadRunner, k6

     

    DataDog, Dynatrace, AppDynamics, NewRelic, Garfana, Splunk

     

    Exposure to Github CI/CD pipeline and DevOps practices

     

    Experience analyzing performance issues on a database level in SQL and NoSQL databases

     

    Proven scripting and programming in Java, Python, JavaScript, or TypeScript

     

    Hands on experience in Azure or AWS Clouds

     

    Exposure to Kubernetes, Docker, Jenkins, and Git

     

    Experience in Linux/Unix operating systems

     

    Strong API testing experience

     

    JMeter Preferred
