    Job Description

    An employer in the Chicago, IL area is seeking a Trading and Commercial Learning Specialist to join their team. This team is responsible for the professional development and growth of the organization's people. This individual will be responsible for supporting the trade floor personnel by developing, defining and training on trade curriculum and continuous development. These responsibilities will include curriculum writing, creation of training courses, moderating both virtual and in person training as it relates to supply, trading, and shipping development programs. This person will need to come from a trading background in the crude oil, gas, jet, and / or diesel space. This is a permanent direct hire role, paying in a range of $125,000 - $235,000 and potential bonuses.

    Skills and Requirements

     

    5+ years experience as a commercial trader

     

    Experience trading commodities such as crude oil, gas, jet, and / or diesel

     

    Strong understanding of trading risk and end-to-end processes in energy markets

     

    Experience and passion for training, mentorship, coaching, and development of people

     

    Ability to create, develop, and teach learning material to large and small groups both virtually and in person Experience in a professional Learning and Development role

     

    Experience with LMS systems
