Summary You will serve as a SUPERVISORY HUMAN RESOURCES SPECIALIST (CLASSIFICATION/RECRUITMENT/ PLACEMENT) in the Human Resources Division (HRD) of ASSTSECNAV M-RA WASHINGTON DC. Responsibilities You will resolve a variety of operational problems and provide human resources (HR) management advisory services on complex customer functions, work practices and impact analysis. You will develop appropriate HR solutions to problems and deliver correspondence to managers to foster understanding and acceptance of findings and recommendations. You will advise and resolve reorganizations, restructuring, succession strategies and provide a full range of position design, compensation, pay, workforce recruitment strategy. You will advise managers at all levels of federal civilian HR related issues including staffing requirements and problems impacting the organization. You will develop long-term and short-term staffing plans to meet mission requirements. You will serve as a first-level supervisor over a staff of Recruitment and Compensation staff that provides Talent Acquisition services to the Navy Secretariat. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience directing a variety of complex technical and administrative work related to federal civilian recruitment. Experience providing classification determinations and guidance on federal civilian position management. Experience supervising personnel on the execution of procedures for recruitment and onboarding.
