    Job Description

    Roles and Responsibilities

    + Responsible for developing and managing engineering / technology projects. Interfaces with internal/external customers to ensure organization resource allocation is made. Accountable to deliver and manage the scope of work to the original cost estimate.

    + Drives successful project execution using earned value management techniques

    + Has in-depth knowledge of best practices and how own area integrates with others

    + Ability to build and integrate complex schedules and dependencies across multiple projects

    + Uses judgment to make decisions or solve moderately complex tasks. Uses technical experience and expertise for data analysis to support recommendations

    + Independently performs critical path analysis to understand project schedules, risks and proposes mitigation strategies

    + Utilizes Flight Deck fundamentals and tools as a foundation for project management and problem solving

    + Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience. May lead small projects with moderate risks and resource requirements. Explains difficult or sensitive information; works to build consensus. Developing persuasion skills required to influence others on topics within field.

    Required Qualifications

    + Bachelor’s Degree in an engineering or technical field from an accredited college or university

    + Minimum of 8 years of engineering experience (Including project management or Program Management)

    + This role requires use of technical data subject to U.S. Government contract restrictions and this posting is only for U.S. Citizens. GE will require proof of status.
