    Maintenance & Calibration Technician – Pharmaceutical Manufacturing

     

    $35.00 – $60.00 per hour based on experience | Onsite | 2nd Shift | Indianapolis, IN

    PDS Tech Commercial, in partnership with a leading pharmaceutical manufacturer, is seeking a skilled **Maintenance & Calibration Technician** to join our **Indianapolis, IN** team. In this role, you will ensure the reliable and compliant operation of critical production systems in a GMP Radioligand Therapies facility, supporting the safe and efficient production of life-saving therapies.

    What You’ll Do

    + Perform corrective and preventative maintenance on production equipment, lab instruments, and building management systems.

    + Troubleshoot and repair complex systems, including isolators, filling lines, utilities, HVAC, pumps, vacuum systems, motors, pneumatics, control systems, and compressed gases.

    + Interpret P&IDs, wiring diagrams, and technical specifications to plan and execute maintenance and repairs.

    + Support 24/7 site operations and participate in startup and commissioning activities.

    + Maintain and calibrate radiation detection equipment to support radiation safety programs.

    + Document work orders, procedures, and deviations in compliance with cGMP standards using CMMS.

    + Provide technical support, spare parts data, and responsive service to internal customers.

    + Train and mentor less experienced maintenance technicians.

    + Assist with investigations and deviations, providing engineering/maintenance insights to support timely resolution of CAPAs.

    Qualifications

    Required:

    + High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree preferred).

    + 5+ years of hands-on plant maintenance experience in a regulated GMP environment.

    + Strong troubleshooting skills across mechanical, electrical, and utility systems.

    + Experience with CMMS and Microsoft Office applications.

    + Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., climb ladders, and work in protective clothing, including cleanroom environments.

    + Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required.

    Preferred:

    + Experience in aseptic fill/finish, radiopharmacy, or pharmaceutical/medical device environments.

    + Training in radioactive or hazardous materials.

    + Familiarity with FDA, OSHA, DEA, or international regulatory requirements.
