    Summary:

    We are seeking a highly accomplished Display Integration Engineer to join the display integration and system team. You will play a critical role in productizing display modules and systems that are central to delivering transformative experiences in AR products. Your expertise will be focused on tackling complex display integration and assembly challenges, developing optic module assembly process and tools, lamination process and tools, novel adhesive material development, and maturing these new processes from concept to ramp. You will bridge the gap between proof-of-concept to mass production, ensuring seamless integration into our product lines.You will excel in collaborative environments, working effectively across cross-functional teams, including optic, metrology, opto-mechanics, operations, quality, GSM, and suppliers. Your contributions will be critical to the success of our smartglass and AR product lines, and we look forward to welcoming you to us.

    Required Skills:

    Display Integration Lead Responsibilities:

    1. Develop, qualify, and implement various processes for display system integration

    2. Support and execute design reviews, tolerance analysis and FMEA reviews for complex precision automated equipment

    3. Drive equipment development from DFM reviews thru implementing rigorous equipment FAT and SAT validation plans

    4. Develop and maintain equipment and supporting documentation, including requirement specifications (ERS), Statements of Work (SOW), calibration procedures, and maintenance procedures

    5. Lead and drive the execution of equipment development and bring-up on-site, identify risks, drive Failure Analysis and corrective actions (FACA), and implement, yield, reliability, throughput, and up-time improvements across multiple builds

    Minimum Qualifications:

    6. Bachelors degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Materials, Physics, or Optics Engineering or equivalent experience

    7. 8+ years of experience in the development of assembly processes and equipments for display/optical imaging assemblies in consumer electronics devices

    8. Experience in New Product Introduction (NPI) processes, including design for manufacturability, prototyping, and production ramp-up in consumer electronics industry

    9. Experience with optical adhesive, structural adhesives, active alignment adhesives, related dispenser technologies, surface preparation, dispense and cure optimization

    10. Experience developing fully automated precision 6-axis alignment processes and equipment to optimize optical assemblies

    11. Experience setting up and implementing DOEs, data analysis, SPC control, Gauge R&R, root cause investigation, failure analysis, implement corrective action

    12. Experience specifying and calibrating 2D and 3D optical metrology instruments and measurement methods, such as white light interferometry, confocal sensors, machine vision, etc

    13. Six Sigma experience (Black Belt)

    14. Experience in 3D modeling/2D drafting using NX, ProE, or SolidWorks

    15. Knowledge of display quality metrics, basic optical aberrations, and test equipment used to measure optical performance

    16. Experience developing active alignment equipment for light engines, camera modules, or similar

    17. Experienced in developing processes and equipment for AR/VR applications

    18. Experience with precision optical assembly such as glass bonding, collimator lens assembly, and film lamination

    19. Track-record of delivering high volume products to the market

    20. Skilled in evaluating and developing new technology capabilities at external vendors

    Public Compensation:

    $170,000/year to $240,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
