HTST (High Temperatur, Short Time) OPERATOR

Start up and operate the whey processing (WPC) ultra-filtration system and all other euipment for the making of cheese according to all specifications.

We are seeking a skilled, reliable HTST operator to join our growing company. In this position, you will trace product flow through all systems: HTST, Ultra Filtration system, and Reverse Osmosis system. Utilizing a continuous improvement mindset, identify opportunities to improve processes; complete preventative maintenance on separators, clarifier, pumps, valves, and membrane system. Follow all DFA good manufacturing practices (GMP) and work in a manner consistent with all corporate rEgulatory, food safety, quality, and sanitation requirements.

COMPENSATION:

$19 per hour

SCHEDULE:

5am start to finish - Monday through Friday

Overtime expected

Occasional weekends

Requirements

+ High school diploma or equivalent preferred

+ Warehouse, production, or general work experience preferred

+ Certification and/or license - may be required during course of employment

+ Practical knowledge of lock-out tag-out procedures

+ Good mechanical ability

+ Able to effectively work in a team environment

+ Able to use company computer systems

+ Able to work in a fast-paced environment

+ Able to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing

+ Able to follow directions

+ Able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.

+ Must be able to read, write and speak English, bi-lingual English/Spanish preferred but not required.
