Position Overview
We currently have an opportunity within our Parts department for a Sales Planning Analyst (Senior level considered based on experience). This role will have a critical impact in translating data into actionable insights. The responsibilities for this role range from daily and monthly reporting to track critical business KPIs, maintaining and enhancing reports and dashboards as self-service stops for data consumers, slicing and dicing our data repositories to respond to ad hoc business needs, to being part of new projects to enhance how we use data, with the overarching goal of enabling our sales team to drive growth and deliver exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities
Data Analysis & Reporting
+ Analyze sales performance across regions, product lines, and channels to track KPIs, conduct gap analyses, and identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
+ Maintain, enhance, and create reports and dashboards that provide actionable insights for internal and external stakeholders
+ Conduct ad hoc analyses and provide actionable insights
+ Analyze and support the sales opportunity pipeline and conversion
+ Support modeling of forecasts and forward-looking risk and opportunity assessments
+ Contribute to the annual planning process (AOP)
+ Support the creation and successful execution of growth programs
Cross-Functional Collaboration
+ Serve as a liaison between Sales, Finance, Product Management, Customer Service, and Distribution to ensure alignment and seamless problem solving for internal and external customers
+ Participate in cross-functional projects to enhance our analytics capabilities, develop new sales strategies and process improvements
+ Communicate insights to other teams and leadership
Minimum Requirements
+ Bachelor's degree
+ At least 5 years of sales planning, sales, project management, analyst or marketing experience
OR
+ Master's degree
+ At least 3 years of sales planning, sales, project management, analyst or marketing experience
OR
+ At least 7 years of sales planning, sales, project management, analyst or marketing experience
Additional Requirements
+ Qualified candidates, excluding current employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States. Desired Skills
+ Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel
+ Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau (preferred, or strong willingness to learn)
+ Experience with CRM platforms such as Salesforce (preferred, or strong willingness to learn)
+ Experience in SQL and Hadoop (preferred, or strong willingness to learn)
+ Excellent communication and presentation skills, including exposure to senior leadership
+ Ability to manage multiple priorities and to distinguish between what is urgent and important
+ Experience working in cross-functional teams and influencing without direct authority
+ A “can-do” attitude focused on problem-solving, with a strong desire to succeed and grow
