    Description

    The role of the Mechanical Service Technician on this project beginning October 2025 would be to run an angle grinder with a buffing disc to perform surface prep on piping and vessels for inspections. **_No specific certification is required, however, experience with angle grinder with buffing disk is mandatory._** Prior experience in refinery's and/or power plants is preferred. Candidate must be local to Houston, TX or surrounding cities and willing to travel site.

     

    + **Travel:** 10/12/25

    + **Onsite:** 10/13/25

    + **Duration:** 4 to 5 weeks

    + **Schedule:** 6 – 10’s; Mon to Sat; Off Sunday

    + **Per Diem:** (7 Days): $155 days stayed

    + **Pay Rate: $18.00**

    + **Travel out day:** $50

    MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES/ACTIVITIES:

    + Run an angle grinder with a buffing disc to perform surface prep on piping and vessels for inspections

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

    + Possess experience with an angle grinder with a buffing disc to perform surface prep on piping and vessels for inspections

    + High School diploma or equivalent.

    + Successfully pass drug test and background check
