    Responsibilities

    + Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients with cardiac conditions, including health history, vital signs, and medication reconciliation.

    + Assist cardiologists in performing diagnostic procedures such as stress tests, echocardiograms, and Holter monitoring.

    + Educate patients about their cardiac condition, treatment options, medications, and lifestyle modifications.

    + Coordinate patient care by scheduling appointments, referrals, and diagnostic tests as needed.

    + Administer medications, perform wound care, and assist with minor procedures under the supervision of a physician.

    + Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to ensure continuity of care and optimal patient outcomes

    Qualifications

    + Valid nursing license in Iowa

    + Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.

    + Certification in Cardiac Nursing (e.g., AACN or ANCC) highly desirable.

    + BLS and Mandatory Reporter certification required.

    + Excellent communication, organizational, and patient care skills.
