What You'll Be Doing

+ Operate roof bolting and drilling equipment safely and efficiently in underground quarry operations

+ Perform routine inspections and maintenance on drilling machinery

+ Monitor ground conditions and install roof support systems as needed

+ Collaborate with team members to ensure safe and productive work practices

+ Document work activities and report any hazards or equipment issues

What Are We Looking For

+ Demonstrated ability to operate heavy equipment in underground environments

+ Strong understanding of safety protocols and hazard recognition

+ Capability to work independently and as part of a team

+ Willingness to learn and adapt to changing site conditions

+ Effective communication skills and attention to detail

Conditions of Employment

+ Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check

+ Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing

Work Environment

+ Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level
