We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated **Roadway Design Engineer** to join our team in **Peachtree Corners, GA.**

Job Description:

As a Roadway Design Engineer at Parsons, you will perform various engineering and design assignments requiring the application of basic principles and fundamental theories studied in a Bachelors in Civil Engineering program. This role is open to engineers with 3 years or more experience.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Perform geometric design for road and highway projects for GDOT and other regional projects

+ Perform work using MicroStation OpenRoads Designer software

+ Prepare or assist in preparing fundamental engineering computations, material quantity takeoffs, estimates, and designs.

+ Under the guidance of a more senior engineer, assist in the preparation and issuance of specifications, data sheets, and other construction documents.

+ Provide input to CAD Designer/Drafters working on the same project.

+ Perform other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.

Qualifications:

+ Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (or related field), with coursework or emphases in transportation engineering

+ Minimum of 3 years or more of experience in roadway design engineering.

+ Proficiency in MicroStation CAD software (preferably OpenRoads Designer) and other PC software packages typically associated with engineering is also required.

+ Experience in 3D modeling using OpenRoads Designer or InRoads is desirable.

Salary Range: $62,300.00 - $109,000.00
