About the Role:
As a CBRE Facilities Consultant, you will oversee facilities-related projects across three hospital campuses in the Hillcrest, College Station, and Brenham region. This role involves managing multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery, budget compliance, and exceptional client satisfaction.
This job is a part of the Facilities Management functional area which focuses on all aspects of the operations of a set of assets, providing support to the Property Managers regarding all repairs and investment plans.
What You’ll Do:
+ Coordinate soft services for all business units, large departments, or work groups.
+ Oversee various services such as maintenance, landscaping, snow/ice removal, and paving.
+ Establish specifications, solicit bids, negotiate, and participate in contract development.
+ Review and approve vendor contracts and specify terms of agreements.
+ Secure necessary operating supplies such as janitorial and maintenance.
+ Lead and manage landscaping and concrete projects across three medium-sized hospital campuses.
+ Confirm company and client records are managed according to policies, procedures, and legal requirements.
+ Develop, monitor, and manage project budgets, ensuring cost efficiency and adherence to financial guidelines.
+ Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates and ensuring alignment with project goals.
+ Source and evaluate vendors, obtain competitive quotes, and manage vendor relationships throughout the project lifecycle.
+ Secure necessary client approvals and ensure all projects meet regulatory and organizational standards.
+ Prepare and present progress reports to stakeholders, highlighting timelines, risks, and budget status.
+ Point of contact for emergency situations and issues that occur during and outside of normal business hours.
+ Apply in-depth knowledge of standard principles and techniques/procedures to accomplish complex assignments and provide innovative solutions.
+ Coach others and share in-depth knowledge of own job discipline and broad knowledge of several job disciplines within the function.
+ Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Work to build consensus and convince others to reach an agreement.
+ Impact a range of customer, operational, project, or service activities within own team and other related teams.
+ Work within broad guidelines and policies.
+ Explain difficult or sensitive information.
What You’ll Need:
+ Bachelor's Degree preferred with 5-8 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
+ Ability to exercise judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information.
+ Willingness to take a new perspective on existing solutions.
+ In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
+ Organizational skills with an advanced inquisitive mindset.
+ Sophisticated math skills. Ability to calculate mildly complex figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial-related calculations.
