    This position is responsible for **operating extrusion machinery** as well as ensuring efficient production processes, maintaining quality standards, and providing **TECHNICAL leadership and training** to a team of operators to meet production targets. Duties include but are not limited to the following:

     

    + Operate extrusion machinery with technical expertise

    + Lead and coach a team of extruder operators to meet production goals, coordinating or assisting with activities of team members as necessary.

    + Monitors processes to address issues, minimize downtime, and maximize efficiency, seeks out opportunities to improve established manufacturing practices, and anticipates, and anticipates inefficiencies, bringing constructive solutions.

    + Enforces quality control measures to meet specifications and customer requirements.

    + Troubleshoot equipment issues and implement solutions, collaborating with maintenance teams and any other applicable departments.

    + Trains and provides mentorship to employees.

    + Support an environment that aligns with ProAmpac's core values and safety protocols

    + Communicates production status and performance trends to management.

    Key Qualifications & Experience

    + HS/GED required; AS preferred

    + 3+ years' experience operating a machine or in a related field is required

    + Prior experience operating extrusion machines is preferred

    + Prior Leadership experience preferred.
