Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)

The BCBA plays a critical part in developing, implementing, and monitoring behavioral interventions for children and adolescents with Autism Spectrum Disorder and/or other behavioral and communication challenges.
Position Summary:
The BCBA will lead behavioral treatment planning. This includes conducting assessments, developing comprehensive treatment plans, training staff, monitoring client progress, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, families, and external partners. The BCBA also supports clinical supervision, professional development, and quality assurance efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Conduct intake assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
+ Identify and administer behavioral assessments.
+ Define target behaviors in objective terms and monitor progress through data collection and analysis.
+ Design and implement skill acquisition programs and positive behavior support strategies.
+ Observe clients across settings to ensure treatment consistency and effectiveness.
+ Collaborate with treatment teams during IEPs, team meetings, and case reviews.
+ Provide staff training, modeling, and consultation on behavior intervention strategies.
+ Assist with crisis intervention planning and provide consultation on critical incidents.
+ Maintain documentation, including clinical notes, progress summaries, and billing records.
+ Support the completion of quality audits and participate in program development.
+ Supervise direct support staff, and provide ongoing training and feedback.
+ Maintain caseload in accordance with BACB guidelines (focused and/or comprehensive).
+ Supporting education administrators with staff evaluations and corrective action planning specific to behavior intervention practices.
Qualifications:
+ Certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in good standing.
+ Master’s degree in Human Services or a related field.
+ Prior experience with individuals with autism and/or behavioral challenges.
+ Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
+ Proficiency with data collection and behavioral assessment tools.
+ Basic computer skills and documentation proficiency.
Physical and Work Requirements:
+ Ability to travel independently between locations.
+ Capacity to perform light office duties and physical interventions if necessary.
+ Valid driver’s license.
