Key job responsibilities

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking an exceptional individual to join the AMER Data Center Capacity and Delivery (DCCD) AMER Construction Programs team as a Manager of Construction Coordination. This individual will lead a team of employees in completing high quality and efficient contract administration tasks spanning contracts for diligence, work orders, change orders, and also facilitate design releases. Our team provides administrative project support, leads strategic initiatives, and drives process improvement for our Construction customers across the organization. We thrive on operational efficiency and always insist on the highest standards.

The successful candidate will be a strong communicator (both written and verbal), leader, will not be hindered by ambiguity or competing priorities, and have a basic understanding of data center construction, and a drive to learn and be curious. They will be detailed oriented and apply a variety of program coordination tools, methodologies, and techniques that support quick and efficient purchasing across all construction disciplines.

Basic Qualifications

- 5+ years of program or project management experience

- 2+ years of team management experience

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Construction Management, Finance, Supply Chain or equivalent

- Familiar with payment systems and document controls.

Preferred Qualifications

- 7+ years of program or project management experience

- 5+ years of team management experience

- Familiar with payment systems and document controls.

- Proficient in project management tooling such as SmartSheets and Asana aswell creating dashboards and useful daily reports that help manage business.

- Experience with Procore, Payee Central, Contract Central

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $114,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $189,300/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
