    The OpsTech Solutions (OTS) organization provides world-class IT services for Amazon’s fulfillment centers and transportation networks worldwide. Within OTS, the Supply Chain organization ensures that Amazon operations sites have the tech equipment that they need, when they need it. We are seeking for a dynamic, organized self-starter to join our Operations Team as a Process Assistant supporting our flagship Rapid Asset Deployment site, RAD1 in Antioch, Tennessee.

     

    The Process Assistant will be part of the Engineering team and will primarily help identify, root cause and resolve inbound receiving issues with Operations.

    Key job responsibilities

    • Support and work in assigned department. as required

    • Work with internal customer to quickly identify, root cause and resolve inbound receive issues

    • Work through inbound receive tickets

    • Complete time studies

    • Complete process audits

    • Assist with collecting metrics and product attributes

    • Assist with testing out new technologies and software

    • Track and report labor hours

    • Verify SOP compliance

    • Ensure successful area performance through tracking, reporting, and feedback of performance

    • Participate in Operational Excellence initiatives in some capacity

    • Fully understand workflow and daily production goals

    • Review and update SOP, as required

    • Assist in keeping work area clean and organized

    • Identify and address safety hazards within the work area

    • Participate in safety initiatives

    • Additional duties, as assigned

    A day in the life

    • Review emails

    • Check for assigned work

    • Review inbound receive tickets, provide updates and or chase stakeholders for updates

    • Review the inbound receive area to check for blockers

    • Sync with Operations and address any concerns/call-outs

    • Collect time studies

    • Conduct process audits

    • Write SOPs

    Basic Qualifications

    - • High School Diploma or Equivalent Diploma or one year of continuous Amazon experience

     

    - • Ability to work flexible schedules/shifts/areas

     

    - • Experience in Microsoft Office, Intermediate excel skills for data analysis.

     

    - • Experience working in Problem Solve

    Preferred Qualifications

    - • Completed Bachelor’s Degree

     

    - • Excellent interpersonal skills

     

    - • Demonstrated problem solving skills and analytical skills

     

    - • Good communication skills (written and verbal)

     

    - • An awareness and willingness to use Operational Excellence tools and techniques

    Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $42,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $91,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
