Job Summary:

We are seeking a Validation and Calibration Specialist to perform validation and calibration activities in compliance with SOPs, Quality Manual, ISO 17025:2017, and GMP requirements. This role involves executing temperature mapping qualifications (IQ/OQ/PQ), managing vendor equipment services (calibration, PMs, validations), writing quality events, and preparing technical reports. The Specialist will ensure laboratory equipment is properly monitored, calibrated, and serviced, and may perform hands-on calibrations and validations.

Responsibilities:

+ Perform temperature mapping qualifications for freezers, refrigerators, incubators, and autoclaves

+ Coordinate or perform validation and calibration of equipment

+ Prepare validation protocols, procedures, and technical reports

+ Conduct quality event investigations for out-of-tolerance or nonconforming equipment

+ Serve as primary point of contact for equipment vendors

+ Support compliance with GMP and ISO 17025 requirements

+ Other related duties as assigned

Requirements:

+ B.S. in a science-related field preferred

+ 2–5 years of validation and qualification experience in a GMP-regulated industry

+ Metrology certificate preferred

+ Experience with temperature mapping, thermocouple prep/handling/calibration

+ Strong technical writing, review, and analytical skills

+ Excellent communication and presentation skills

+ Experience with Ellab and Veriteq temperature monitoring systems a plus

**Pay Details:** $35.00 per hour
