Position Information Position Title Instructor MOS (Bus Driver) Ft Hood FLSA Non-Exempt Full Time/Part Time Full Time Department MOSHOOD Campus Ft Hood Campus Location Fort Hood, TX (Military Contracts) Hourly Rate 24.13 +5.09 WD Rate Hours Full-time, indicate working hours - 40 weekly Summary of Position The Bus Driver Instructor is a full-time, wage determination position directly responsible to the Director, Military Skills Enhancement Program whose overall duties and responsibilities are to teach, update, and maintain the Bus Driver Course at Fort Hood Troop School and at other Army installations. May be required to conduct special courses or briefings as requested by government contract. Minimum Required Education Two years college (60 credit hours)from a US regionally accredited institution of higher education required; Associate Degree preferred. Transcripts must be uploaded to application. Minimum Required Experience Five years military service with a minimum of two years’ experience as a Senior NCO (E-7), Warrant Officer, or Commissioned Officer with experience with a working knowledge in bus driver instruction, including teaching updating and maintaining a Bus Driver Course. One year experience as an instructor within the past 10 years prior to employment. Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities + Must be computer literate with proficiency in Windows operating systems. + Must be proficient with Adobe Acrobat/Reader and Microsoft Office Suite, specifically with Word, Excel and PowerPoint. + Must have understanding of computer and printer networking to include knowledge of basic troubleshooting techniques. + Must have valid driver’s license and CDL license, current Medical Examiners certificate, Military Vehicle (Bus) license, chauffeur license, clear driving record, must have experience as a Bus Driver instructor. + Must be able to pass a background investigation or National Agency Check ( NAC ) in order to fulfill contractual obligations.
