    Johnson & Johnson has entered into an agreement to acquire Intra-Cellular Therapies, Inc, a biopharmaceutical company focused on the development and commercialization of therapeutics for central nervous system (CNS) disorders.     The Manager, MSL Operations (MO) role is responsible for leading or coordinating activities that are important to the operational efficiency and performance effectiveness of the Medical Groups that support Neuroscience Medical (NS) Affairs, specifically for Intra-Cellular Therapies (ITCI) portfolio. Using a blend of organizational, creative, and networking skills, the MO works both, independently and collaboratively, with the Director, Program Management, MSL leadership and other Medical Affairs colleagues providing insights, patterns, and recommendations based on analysis of Field Based Medical (FBMS) Group performance indicators.

     

    The MO will continue to enhance their skills in agility, applying the competencies of change management, time management and innovation while conducting activities in accordance with current regulatory and health care compliance guidelines.

     

    This is a home office (Titusville, NJ) based position with minimal travel requirements annually.

     

    This role will report to the Director, Program Management.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Operationalize the FBMS Value Metrics including customer relations management (via iCONNECT), capacity planning, resource, and tool utility.

     

    + Build and share value metrics reports (monthly, quarterly, annually, ad hoc) associated with field medical execution i.e. quantitative and qualitative measures including; monthly customer visits, resource utilization, knowledge gaps (internally & externally)

    + Build and foster relationship with Digital Multimedia Integration team to develop, implement, monitor, and improve J&J systems that field medical teams use to manage customer relations. Serve as NS team expert on iCONNECT, Global Customer Insights Platform, SharePoint, etc.

    + Coordinate and perform oversight of systems to support MSL field activities, i.e. deployment planning, project tracking, etc.

    + Support ITCI integration to J&J systems

     

    Operationalize asset creation, onboarding, and training of new datasets.

     

    + Serve as field representative on data dissemination meetings to provide field input and report out to Medical Affairs ITCI Leadership Team and MSL Leadership of upcoming data releases

    + Implement asset creation plan with vendors and internal resources as needed; partner with cross-functional SMEs to manage content submission and approval in a timely fashion

    + Deliver training plan of new resources / data coordinating with SMEs to educate field teams

    + Review asset usage quarterly and report out to data dissemination team use metrics and asset gaps as identified by field VoC

    Qualifications - External

    • A BA/BS level degree or equivalent experience is required. Post graduate experience (MA/MBA/MS) desirable.

    Required:

    • A preference of 6 years relevant experience with at least 3 years previous industry experience.

    • Proficiency in technical systems including CRM and Microsoft Office Suite.

    • Strong written, oral, and presentation interpersonal skills required.

    Preferred:

    • Project Management training and program development or management experience is desirable.

    • Application of current and/or emerging digital technologies for operational productivity and innovation desirable.

    • Ability to balance multiple tasks/projects

    • Ability to partner effectively with medical and scientific affairs colleagues

    • Knowledge of training platforms

    • Familiarity with regulatory and healthcare compliance guidelines/policies

     

    The base pay range for this position is $115,000 - $170,000 The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis.
