    Salary: $40 / Hour

     

    The School Nurse assumesresponsibility and accountability for the application of the nursing processand the delivery of student/client care and/or contracted services in a schoolsetting. The School Nurse may also be in a supervisory position within the contractedservices. The School Nurse provides services in accordance with Amergis Healthcare Staffing's philosophy, standards, policies and physician orders.

    Minimum Requirements:

    + Graduate of an accreditedregistered, practical or vocational nursing program

    + Licensed as a LicensedPractical, Licensed Vocational or Registered Nurse in state(s) where practicing

    + One year of professionalexperience, preferred

    + Current CPR

    + PPD or chest x-ray if applicable

    + Current Health certificate (percontract or state regulation)

    + Must meet all federal, state andlocal requirements

    + Must be at least 18 years of age

    e are in need of nurses who are only looking to sub and willing to ride a bus when needed. They should have the following experience.

    + At least one year of nursing experience.

    + Pediatrics and/or special needs

    + G-tube/J-tube/NG tube experience, bolus and pumps.

    + Seizure experience and familiarity with emergency medication for seizures.

    + Able to sub in Lisle, Villa Park, Naperville, and Darien and ride a bus when needed.

    + Bus rides may start in Villa Park, Lombard, Woodridge, Downers Grove, Willowbrook, or Carol Stream.
