We are seeking a highly skilled Manager to lead a team of advanced data scientists and analysts dedicated to innovating personalization within our loyalty programs. In this high-impact role, you will lead the development and deployment of cutting-edge data science solutions that transform customer engagement and drive measurable business growth. You will collaborate closely with senior marketing leaders and other data science experts across the organization, ensuring that advanced analytics and customer insights are seamlessly integrated into loyalty strategies and enterprise initiatives. Your leadership will be instrumental in fostering a culture of technical excellence, experimentation, and cross-functional partnership to deliver best-in-class, data-driven loyalty experiences.
What You'll be Doing:
+ Deliver material impact to the organization’s performance by: developing and scaling advanced data science solutions that drive customer engagement, loyalty, and customer lifetime value across digital, app, web, email/SMS, in-home, and in‑store touchpoints.
+ Lead, build, and develop a high-performing team of data scientists and analysts—own staffing, coaching, career paths, performance management, and a culture of technical excellence, experimentation, and continuous learning.
+ Own the personalization and experimentation roadmap for loyalty analytics, translating business strategy into prioritized use cases with clear hypotheses, success metrics, and launch plans.
+ Design, deploy, and productionize ML solutions (batch and real‑time) in partnership with Data/ML Engineering—manage features, CI/CD for ML, model performance, SLAs, and incident management.
+ Partner closely with senior Marketing, Media, Digital Shopping, Merchandising, Pricing/Promo, and IT to integrate customer insights, business priorities, and tech modernizations into Personalization deployments and roadmap.
+ Prepare and effectively communicate roadmap, progress, and results to business and technical audiences – ensuring alignment and understanding of the direction and impact of the data science roadmap to the organization’s performance.
+ Co-lead the Data Science Center of Excellence, and Collaborate across analytics teams (Pricing, Product Flow, Supply Chain, Human Resources, etc.) to establish best practices for algorithm quality, reproducibility, peer review, model documentation, and knowledge sharing to speed delivery and reduce operational risk.

What You Bring with You (Qualifications):
+ 5+ years relevant experience developing data science products in marketing, media, pricing, or loyalty, in a consumer facing organization – i.e., retail, consumer products, services.
+ Advanced degree in a quantitative field (e.g. data science, math, statistics, econometrics, etc.).
+ Experience managing cross-functional and partner relationships.
+ Broad experience designing, building, testing, implementing and communicating consumer facing personalized marketing experiences.
+ Expertise with Python, SQL, Spark, Pandas, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, MLOps, ETL, Azure, Databricks, PowerBI, Teradata.
+ Demonstrated ability to develop and apply information-driven analytic and quantitative approaches to solving complex and ambiguous business problems in a timely manner and with tangible results.
+ Active curiosity—must enjoy gathering and digging deeply into data to identify issues and solve problems.
+ Strong work ethic complemented by a positive, can-do attitude.
+ Ability to drive cross-enterprise change and influence individuals at all levels of an organization.
+ Team-building, recruiting, and talent management skills are essential.
+ Excellent communication skills: listening, verbal and written.
+ Experience developing communications and presenting to leadership.
+ Strong organizational, planning, and time management skills with ability to prioritize multiple/competing projects and assignments.
+ Strong written, editing, proofreading and oral communication skills; attention to detail with an ability to meet tight timelines while maintaining a positive attitude.
