    Product Compliance Manager

     

    The Musco Product Compliance Team has an opening for a Product Compliance Manager in Oskaloosa, IA. If your experience aligns with the qualifications outlined below, we look forward to hearing from you!

    Essential Criteria:

    + Bachelor-s degree in engineering or relevant technical field.

    + Ten years of experience with product compliance issues and processes.

    + Ten years of experience working with regulatory and certification agencies.

    + Experience with electronic products strongly preferred.

    + Management experience strongly preferred.

    + Self-directed and self-motivated.

    + Good problem-solving skills.

    + Good negotiation skills.

    + Excellent communication skills.

    + Strong ability to develop process and procedures.

    + Strong attention to detail.

    + Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional environment and with all levels in an organization.

    Roles and Responsibilities:

    + Establish department processes for securing and maintaining all necessary compliance certifications and approvals.

    + Work closely with R&D, engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to integrate compliance requirements into product design and development..

    + Ensure regulatory certifications (e.g., UL, NOM, etc.) are obtained and maintained. Includes support for Musco manufacturing certifications.

    + Maintain comprehensive compliance documentation including test reports, declarations of conformity, and certification records.

    + Partner with leadership to define department goals, set priorities, and align compliance strategy with overall business objectives.

    + Provide guidance, coaching, and performance evaluations to develop a high-performing compliance team.

    + Oversee department budget planning and ensure resources are allocated effectively.

    + Stay current with evolving global regulations, standards, and industry trends; communicate changes and proactively adjust compliance strategies.

    + Other duties as assigned.
