    Job Description:

    Stelic is seeking aProject Scheduler / Planning & Controls Engineerto

     

    support a majorlife sciencescapital project in Indianapolis, Indiana.

     

    This role is primarily remote, with travel required for 3-day site

     

    visits every other week. The Scheduler will leveragePrimavera P6to

     

    develop, maintain, and analyze cost- and resource-loadedCritical Path

     

    Method (CPM) schedules, providing critical oversight across design,

     

    procurement, construction, commissioning, and validation activities. The

     

    position requires strong collaboration with project managers,

     

    superintendents, subcontractors, validation teams, and owners’

     

    representatives to ensure schedule accuracy and successful delivery of a

     

    highly complex facility.

    Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

    - Collect and validate schedule update data from project managers,

     

    superintendents, subcontractors, validation leads, and owners’

     

    representatives, and incorporate approved updates into the schedule.

     

    - Establish and maintain project schedule baselines in compliance with

     

    contractual requirements, monitoring performance and identifying

     

    variances.

     

    - Build and manage cost- and resource-loaded schedules, update actuals

     

    to supportearned value, and generate standard reports including

     

    critical activities, baseline deviations, earned value indices, and

     

    cash flow.

     

    - Prepare monthly reporting packages, including narratives and KPI

     

    summaries for management and client review.

     

    - Develop detailed CPM schedules from the ground up for proposals and

     

    active projects.

     

    - Perform network logic analysis to validate sequencing, float

     

    accuracy, and critical path alignment.

     

    - Conduct “what-if” and time-impact analyses to evaluate risks,

     

    delays, and recovery options.

     

    - Facilitate schedule coordination meetings with internal teams,

     

    contractors, validation teams, and clients to ensure alignment and

     

    accountability.

     

    - Support planning sessions such as pull planning to align

     

    construction, commissioning, and CQV requirements.

     

    - Provide clear, data-driven schedule insights that support executive

     

    decision-making and project delivery.

    Requirements:

    - Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or

     

    related field preferred.

     

    - Proven experience scheduling large-scale life sciences,

     

    pharmaceutical, or biotech projects.

     

    - Advanced proficiency inPrimavera P6and strong skills in Microsoft

     

    Office Suite.

     

    - Expertise with cost- and resource-loaded schedules and earned value

     

    systems.

     

    - Strong understanding of construction sequencing, MEP integration,

     

    commissioning, and CQV processes.

     

    - Knowledge of schedule risk analysis, delay analysis, and recovery

     

    planning.

     

    - Excellent written and verbal communication skills to collaborate

     

    with diverse stakeholders.

     

    - Must be able to travel to Indianapolis, Indiana for 3-day site

     

    visits every other week.

    Education:

    - Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or

     

    related field preferred.

    Other:

    This is a remote position with periodic travel to the project site in

     

    Indianapolis, Indiana. Site visits will typically occur every other week

     

    for three consecutive days and will involve office and active

     

    construction environments, including field walks and coordination with

     

    project teams.
