• Technician, Quality Inspection-1st Shift

    Duration: 03+ Months (** **Potential to extend per performance review and business need)

     

    Note: (1** **st** **Shift Position - 4 am to 12:30 pm w/some flexibility)

    Job Description:

    + This role involves **conducting inspections** and tests to ensure compliance with contracts, client requirements, and standards. Responsibilities include **validating certifications,** using inspection tools, and analyzing data. The position also involves training others, participating and reporting on activities. A high school diploma and 2-3 years of inspection experience are required, with preferred qualifications including a high level of GD&T understanding.

    Responsibilities include:

    + **Conducts tests** , **inspections** , **audits and validations** to ensure process compliance with contracts, our client and requirements and specifications for design, engineering, products, equipment, maintenance and services.

    + Uses and cares for **inspection tools** , measuring and **test equipment** .

    + **Conducts sampling inspections** in accordance with approved plans and procedures.

    + **Provides training** and tutoring to other inspection personnel.

    + Provides activity and status reports to management.

    + Performs all other duties as assigned.

    Required Skills:

    + Familiar with **material and product certifications**

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + **GD&T Qualification**

    + Basic understanding of inspection tools i.e. caliper thread and plug gages.

    Required Education:

    + High school diploma or equivalent required plus 3 years of relevant experience.

    + 2-3 years of of experience

    + Steel toe shoes are required.
