Responsibilities

Manage the daily operations of pharmacy services.

+ Develop and implement performance improvement activities to include medication safety, medication use evaluation and pharmacoeconomics.

+ Conduct competency assessments and coordinates the training and development of pharmacists, pharmacy residents and pharmacy students.

+ Develop and manage departmental budget to promote pharmacoeconomics.

+ Ensure compliance with federal, state, and Board of Pharmacy rules and regulations. Also serves on various committees.

Requirements

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

+ Pharmacist credentialed from the Wisconsin Pharmacy Examining Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education:

+ Bachelor's or advanced degree in Pharmacy required.

Work Experience:

+ 3 years of experience required OR a graduate from an accredited Health System PharmacyAdministration residency program required.

Additional Preferences

+ **Active WI Pharmacy License**

+ **Prior acute care pharmacy manager experience preferred**

+ **PGY2 in pharmacy administration preferred**

+ **At least 2 years of prior acute care pharmacy experience required or 1 year of acute care pharmacy leadership experience**
